Ex Pharm is now
MyCalPharm

A stronger, smarter and more advanced platform designed to transform how pharmacology is learned, practiced, and understood — digitally.

We've built more than an upgrade. MyCalPharm is a complete digital simulation ecosystem for the next generation of pharmacology students, researchers, and educators.

💡
Why the Change?

We expanded far beyond individual experiments into a complete digital simulation ecosystem for pharmacology students — a platform that grows with you.

⚗️
What's New?

Advanced simulations, a cleaner and more intuitive UI, improved data visualization, and interactive learning modules — all built to make complex concepts click.

🎓
Who Is It For?

Built for pharmacology students, pharmacy students, researchers, and educators seeking practical, hands-on digital experiments without a physical lab.

Four Decades of Innovation

From a GW-BASIC simulation to a full digital pharmacology ecosystem

The Beginning
Late 1980s

Began creating computer-simulated animal experiments. Developed a software package named ExPharm in GW-BASIC — the first digital step into pharmacology education.

First Port
1990

Ported the ExPharm software from GW-BASIC to QuickBasic, improving performance and accessibility for early adopters.

Windows Era
1997

Ported ExPharm to Visual BASIC for Windows and made it available for free distribution through website and CDs for a nominal fee — reaching a wider audience than ever before.

Web Launch
2000

IndPharNet launched as a resource for Indian pharmacologists, providing software, documents, and teaching materials for free use in medical education.

Online Platform
2010

A web-based, online version of animal simulation software launched and became widely popular among pharmacology & pharmacy faculty and undergraduate medical and pharmacy students across India.

The Future
2024

MyCalPharm — a new software tool designed to aid medical and pharmacology education — is officially launched at the Indian Pharmaceutical Congress (IPC), marking a new era.
